DONALD TREMBLAY
Public Relations/Publicity

Donald Tremblay has been a publicist for over a dozen years. As Public Relations Director for Main Events–one of the three most successful boxing promoters in history–he publicized some of the biggest fights in the sport' s history, such as Lennox Lewis-Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis-Evander Holyfield. Among the boxers he represented were Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Arturo Gatti, Pernell Whitaker, and Fernando Vargas.

Most recently Tremblay has added politics to the array of industries he publicizes. His efforts promoting Seton Hall Law School Professor Mark Denbeaux (legal counsel for several Guantanamo Bay detainees) has resulted in Denbeaux being cited as a Guantanamo expert in major media outlets such as The New York Times, Associated Press, and The Wall Street Journal.

The Brooklyn, NY husband and father of two is a Pace University alum who graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English. He has had columns published in several publications, such as the New Oxford Review and Hereditas, and his essay exposing the ineffectiveness of the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act (" Ali Act Not The Greatest" ) was published on The Ring magazine/Yahoo.com website: www.ringtv.com.

As a publicist Tremblay most enjoys pitching the media and shepherding a story idea to its completion. " There is no better feeling than opening a newspaper or turning on the television and seeing a publicity angle you cultivated become a reality."
